Meet the instructor
Hola! My name is Amaris Aguirre Gizzi. I’m a passionate Spanish educator with more than eight years of experience working with young children. I teach primarily ages 3–8, and I’m happy to work with older students by request. My background includes preschool teaching, nannying and a deep appreciation for child-centered, play-based learning.
When I discovered the Waldorf approach, it reshaped my teaching philosophy. I made it my mission to bring Spanish lessons to life through crafts, music, and games—ideally in outdoor settings where curiosity and imagination can roam. I design activities that are sensory, hands-on, and seasonal, so language learning feels natural and joyful rather than forced.
I tailor my methods to each child’s unique learning style. Some children thrive with songs and movement, others with storytelling and puppetry, and some with art and tactile projects. My goal is always to spark creativity while building meaningful Spanish vocabulary and confidence in speaking.
